Endless Dungeon Delayed to October
SEGA and Amplitude Studios have announced that Endless Dungeon is being delayed to October 19, 2023 from its original release date of May 18 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. A Switch release date will be announced at a different time.
The additional time will be used by the developers to incorporate feedback from the community that will be essential in ensuring that the game releases in tip-top shape and continues in the footsteps of its previous
titles in the award-winning “ENDLESS” Universe.
Community feedback includes improvements to balancing, meta-progression, onboarding, and general polishing to create the ultimate roguelite experience for players.
Players that have pre-ordered the game will be granted early access on October 17, and likewise, pre-purchases from digital storefronts can receive refunds where applicable.
Romain de Waubert, General Manager and CCO of Amplitude Studios said: “We’re grateful and honored that players are looking forward to playing ENDLESS DUNGEON. The feedback we’ve received across our OpenDev sessions so far has proved to us that we truly have something special on our hands and we want to ensure we have time for the game to reach its full potential. Players have always been at the heart of our studio’s philosophy and releasing ENDLESS DUNGEON in October will allow us the extra time to keep working with the community and polishing the game for an amazing day one experience.”
To thank the community for their patience the devs will include some extra free content for those who have pre-purchased the game on PC, and for those among the first to purchase at release on console.
