Gamescom Opening Night Live is scheduled to air on August 27 (28 early morning in the Philippines) and with it, a host of brand new announcements and reveals from the biggest publishers in the gaming industry.

Host Geoff Keighley has been hyping up the show and is getting ready to drop 2 hours worth of gaming updates to everyone, including 38 games scheduled to be shown from 18 different publishers.

So… what’s included so far on that 38 game list? A partial list has been announced so far, and it includes some heavy hitters like the brand new uncut footage from Ratchet & Clank, second season of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Doom Eternal ‘The Ancient Gods’ part 1 expansion, world premiere new looks at Star Wars: Squadrons and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, and much much MUCH more.

Check out some of the games you can look forward to during the event:

With E3 taking a backseat this year, the game companies themselves have started setting up shop with vitrual events like Ubisoft Forward, PlayStation’s State of Play, and even the games showcase from Xbox. Gamescom Opening Night Live will be the event to watch out for this year as COVID-19 continues to present challenges with how the world does physical events and with a lineup like this, it looks like something gamers around the world wouldn’t want to miss.
