It was certainly not an easy decision for Guerrilla and Sony, but Horizon Forbidden West is now officially delayed to February 18, 2022. The good news, at least, is that we finally get a release date announcement, one that we’ve been waiting for since its State of Play livestream back in May.
As posted on the PlayStation Blog and announced during Gamescom 2021 Opening Night Live, the delay was certainly due to the challenges brought about by the pandemic and had to prioritize the health and safety of the devs.
With the release date finally revealed, the only question now is if you’ll be playing Horizon Forbidden West on the PS4 or PS5. Let us know!
