The Lord of the Rings Gollum is not exactly my first choice in Tolkien’s gallery of rogues, but it’s definitely something different. As teased last year, Daedelic Entertainment and Nacon will bring about this stealth adventure featuring the eponymous ring-obsessed former Hobbit, as we can see in our first sneak peek at gameplay for this upcoming title.
While the trailer looks interesting, it will arrive in 2022 according to Daedelic’s pre-show speech. I don’t expect it to be a fast-paced open world action-adventure like Shadow of Mordor, but if Nacon is developing it and it would turn out like the Styx games, it’s something to look forward to.
The Lord of Rings Gollum will be out on 2022 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
