Take a peek into Lost Heaven from Mafia: Definitive Edition

Leading up to the launch of Mafia: Definitive Edition, 2K and Hangar 13 is giving us a taste of the experience by launching a new trailer every week, highlighting various aspects of this new and wonderfully remade title.

The first video – “World of Lost Heaven” – showcases the game’s setting, a prohibition-era Midwestern city teeming with period-authentic details. For a glimpse into this tumultuous time and place in American history, you can check out the trailer below:

The next video, planned for September 10, will shine the spotlight on the overhauled shooting and driving mechanics that compose the core gameplay. Upcoming videos will take us through the missions that make up Tommy’s Angelo journey through Lost Heaven’s criminal underworld and the game’s stunning orchestral score, which mafia fans will definitely enjoy.

Our early impressions of Mafia: Definitive Edition point to it being a well done remaster, built-from-the-ground-up with an updated script filled with rich new dialogue, expanded backstories, and additional cutscenes.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is scheduled to release on September 25 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
