Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Announced, Coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

During the hour-long Playstation Showcase, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was officially announced amidst rumors surrounding its existence.

The remake, which is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, is said to be a faithful remake of the classic that was originally released back in 2004 for the PS2. A new generation of players will finally be able to experience the origin story of Big Boss and witness how his legend was forged in the crucible of Operation Snake Eater.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will feature the original voice actors, a rich storyline, and expansive features with upgraded visuals and immersive sound.

Konami also announced the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Volume 1, which collects the first three games in the MGS franchise, including:

  • MGS
  • MGS 2: Sons of Liberty (HD Collection version)
  • MGS 3: Snake Eater (HD Collection version)

The collection is scheduled to release in Autumn 2023, so stay tuned for more details.
