Rounding up the recently concluded Monster Hunter Digital Event was a showcase on the next available update for Monster Hunter Rise entitled Ver.2.0, which brings in a ton of new content including several new Monsters and Quests along with unlocking the Hunter Rank cap!

Following the announcement of the Elder Dragon Chameleos and Apex Rathalos, the 2.0 will add Apex Diablos, Teostra, and Kushala Daora. Some Apex Monsters will also receive their own standard quests, while Magnamalo will now appear during Rampage Quests.

In most new Monster Hunter entries, Hunter Rank is capped until a new expansion or update drops with new content, and it’s pretty much the same here, except we get a welcome early-arrival: craftable Layered Armor.

The Digital Event concludes with a teaser for the 2nd free title update, Ver.3.0, coming in the end of May, which promises a new story chapter that will likely be the capstone of the Rampage story of Kamura.
