Nintendo Direct June 2023. What a surprise, huh? Coming from out of the left field, as usual, we’re surprised once again at a number of very welcome and notable announcements.

There was a bevy of Super Mario reveals, from the newest Super Mario RPG Remake to the newest 2D Mario side scroller, Super Mario Bros Wonder. To add even more excitement, more upcoming titles were revealed, including an unannounced Princess Peach side scroller and a remake of Luigi’s Mansion coming in 2024.

Aside from first-party announcements, there was news of the awaited Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol 1 as well as the rumored Star Ocean The Second Story remake.
