Sony unveils the first PlayStation 5 global ad spot

In an announcement on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has unveiled the first global ad spot that aims to showcase the immersive gameplay that the PlayStation 5 will bring when it launches later this year.

The advertisement walks us through some of the features that the PlayStation 5 and the DualSense will be bringing to the table, from the haptic feedback sensation of the cracking ice to the Tempest 3D AudioTech that will bring you an aural experience from all directions, aiming to elevate the gameplay experience.

While it doesn’t say anything yet about some of the bigger tidbits like the price or release date of the system, it does give us a bit of a sneak peek of how the gaming experience will change come the next generation, which we’ll get to try first hand when titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls.

The PlayStation 5 is scheduled to release in the Holiday of 2020.
