Alas, the mysterious Capcom Countdown is finally over and after almost a week of anticipation, Capcom has officially announced Street Fighter 6!
Street Fighter 6 Details
Announced at the tail end of the Capcom Pro Tour, the highly anticipated follow-up was announced, showing a short teaser of Ryu and Luke facing off, ending in an explosive, but a rather anti-climactic tease.
No specifics were given by Capcom, except that more news will be shared in Summer 2022, so we’ll have to wait for more details on this.
Street Fighter V was released back in 2016 to glowing reviews from the critics, and over the past 6 years, Capcom has been steadily providing the game with content updates that saw the inclusion of fighters such as Akira as one of the final additions to the roster.
