Miles Morales will be able to use some of his trademark abilities in the upcoming PlayStation 5 title

If there’s a title that a lot of PlayStation 5 fans are looking forward to come the holidays, one of them is surely Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Tagged as a standalone game, the upcoming title will allow players to take control of Miles as he takes the lead in his own adventure.

As this is his own story, Miles too has his own unique abilities that sets him apart from Spider-Man and fans will be glad to know that the game has taken that into account.

The official Insomniac Games Twitter account had this to say about some of the abilities players can expect with the upcoming Miles Morales game:

In particular, Insomniac says that players will have the ability to use Miles’s “bio-electric venom blast attacks and covert camouflage power”, of course along with his usual agility based skills. There are no details about how these abilities will be implemented in the game but it could be interesting to note how the DualSense controller will play a role on how immersive the experience will be for players.

It was also previously mentioned that the game will take full advantage of the PS5 hardware and will show off near-instant loading, ray-tracing, 3D audio and more. While it may be similar to the original game everyone loved and enjoyed back when it launched in 2018, expect a fully upgraded experience worthy of the next generation.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales is scheduled to make its debut in the Holiday of 2020 for the PlayStation 5.
