Remember that time when Tony Hawk himself spilled the beans about the 1 & 2 remaster and then proceeded to treat Jack Black to a playable build? Yeah, that happened, and since then, some players have been wondering whether one half of the Tenacious D duo would make an appearance in the game. According to some datamined files from the recent demo, it seems like Jack Black will indeed be making an appearance in the upcoming remaster if this is anything to go by.

Some great sleuths over at Reddit have found a Jack Black model in the game dressed as a cop, implying that the actor may be taking on the role of Officer Dick, a fictional character from the series that has appeared in multiple THPS games such as THPS1-4.

There has been no official word from Activision about this yet, so we don’t know yet if Jack Black will have a role in the upcoming game, but it seems Activision are going big on this game, and the inclusion of Black would definitely be icing on the cake.

The demo for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is now available to download for those who have pre-ordered the game and we called it a remaster done right, applauding Vicarious Visions for the great work they’ve done for the game.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available worldwide on September 4 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
