Ghost of Tsushima wins the Player’s Voice award
It was a close race for the majority of the voting period but with a surge that blew the lead wide open, Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima takes home the Player’s Voice award as announced on The Game Awards Website, besting other titles like The Last of Us Part II, Hades, Doom Eternal, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
This isn’t the Game of the Year Award just yet, but if anything, it goes to show how beloved these games are to the voting public. The Last of Us Part II seems to be one of the big favorites to win it all this year, but many are pinning their hopes on Ghost of Tsushima to sneak in for the victory.
The OMG staff placed our picks for Game of the Year and it was pretty spread out, with almost each game getting a vote in this hotly contested category. Only 1 game will win, who do you think will take it?
