First announced back in June, Returnal from Housemarque, the minds behind Resogun, will be releasing on March 19 and kick off the the onslaught of PS5 exclusives for 2021.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog and during The Game Awards, the game will feature “relentless roguelike gameplay, you’ll discover that just as the planet changes with every cycle, so do the items at your disposal. Every loop offers new combinations, forcing you to push your boundaries and approach combat with a different strategy each time.”

Returnal will make us of the DualSense to the fullest, allowing players to “feel the natural ambience of this alien planet as the controller mimics its environmental effects.” Each weapon in the game will also feature an alternate firing mode through the use of the DualSense’s adaptive triggers.

Returnal is set to launch on March 19, 2021.
