Well, that came out from nowhere!

SNK’s official global Twitter account announced that their brand new console that will “bridge the needs between passionate fans and console gaming enthusiasts” will be coming in 2021. No other details were given.

There’s no indication as to what the company will be putting out, and it could be fair to think that they won’t be competing with the PS5 nor the Series X, so a handheld device may be a possibility. There’s also a Wi-Fi signal on the image posted, which could be a hint.

SNK was known for their Neo Geo line of consoles back in the 90’s, even expanding to handhelds like the Neo Geo Pocket and the Neo Geo X.
