Oh Nintendo, just dropping announcements out of nowhere! Initially announced last year, New Pokemon Snap now has a release date and it is scheduled for April 30, 2021.

Get ready to visit the many beautiful isles of the Lental region in the New Pokémon Snap game for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. Filled with diverse ecosystems, from dense jungles to vast deserts, the archipelago of the region is an untouched natural marvel, packed to the brim with Pokémon just waiting to be discovered!

In New Pokémon Snap, players will take on the role of a budding Pokémon photographer and work with the Lental region expert, Professor Mirror, and his assistant, Rita, on an ecological survey to photograph Pokémon thriving in nature.

The game will set you back for $59.99 or around PHP3,000, and pre-orders will be available starting later today.
