Final Fantasy VII Remake co-director teases new information to come later this week
Its a bit sad that due to the pandemic, many events have been cancelled for safety reasons. One such event was the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour, which has since rearranged their schedules and one leg of the tour will now take place this Saturday, February 13 in Tokyo. Apparently, something special will be happening during the concert that concerns the game.
Twitter user @aitaikaimochi has translated the message from Final Fantasy VII Remake co-director Motomu Toriyama which says that he will make an appearance during a special part of the concert to talk about “a few FF7R contents to be revealed only during this event”.
There is speculation that what will be revealed will be the other FF7R ports, since the game was supposed to be a 1 year timed exclusive for the PlayStation 4. Rumors also point to a possible PS5 enhanced version for the game, or maybe some information about the recent “Ever Crisis” and “The First Soldier” trademarks that have been filed. There is nothing definitive at this point, sadly, so we’ll have to wait until later this week to see if it is indeed something noteworthy.
A bit of wishful thinking, but maybe we also get news about part 2 of the remake? Right now, anything is possible, but the good thing is that we won’t have to wait too long until we hear some semblance of news. It would be wise to temper expectations, as it may be something big, but it could also be nothing at all.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available for the PlayStation 4.
