PlayStation State of Play returns, promises ‘updates and deep dives’ for PS4 and PS5 games

Geez, Sony was busy. In the past day alone, we got a new PSVR update, the return of “Play at Home”, and a high profile interview by Jim Ryan on GQ. To round it all up, a State of Play has been announced this upcoming Thursday, February 25 (February 26 Friday at 6AM in the Philippines).

According to the Playstation Blog, the upcoming broadcast “will serve up new updates and deep dives for 10 games coming to PS4 and PS5, including new game announcements and updates on some of the third-party and indie titles you last saw in June’s PS5 showcase”.

The show will span around 30 minutes, and will not show any hardware or business related news. You can view the broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube.

While we wait with bated breath for announcements like the final release date on Horizon Forbidden West and maybe a confirmation if God of War: Ragnarok will be delayed to 2022, what other games could be highlighted during the show? I’m hoping for at least a teaser for Final Fantasy VII Remake 2!
