With delays coming in left and right, it’s certainly good news (and a relief) to hear when a game is going to hit its target launch date. One such game is the upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive from Housemarque, Returnal, which is set to release on April 30. The PS5, with all its talk of exclusives, is finally getting its next one and we won’t have to wait too long for it.

Housemarque, devs of previous titles like Resogun and Matterfall, made the announcement on social media, thanking everyone who worked on bringing the game to gold. Like them, we can’t wait to experience the journey to Planet Atropos.

What’s next? We wait patiently, around a month from now, to see if all of those gameplay and story trailers amount to a must play experience. From now until then, we’re hoping nothing unfortunate happens, because stranger things have indeed happened after going gold…
