Horizon Forbidden West is reportedly delayed to Q1 2022
In what seems to be a delay one after the other, the next casualty is reportedly a very big one, and it is the upcoming Sony PlayStation exclusive Horizon Forbidden West.
This comes by way of a report by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, who says that the rumor shared by Journalist Jeff Grubb yesterday has been confirmed. While no official word has been released by Sony as of yet, the report has been making the rounds already, and if proven true, we should probably hear an official word soon enough.
If you’ll remember, a statement made by Hermen Hulst back in June mentions that “For Horizon Forbidden West, we think we are on track to release this holiday season. But that isn’t quite certain yet, and we’re working as hard as we can to confirm that to you as soon as we can.”
If the delay proves to be true, then we can only assume that the game needs more time to be finished, and we’d rather have a completed and polished one rather than a rushed product, especially with a title of this magnitude.
We’ll wait to hear an official announcement from Sony.
