Resident Evil Re:Verse delayed to 2022
In case you didn’t know, Resident Evil Village was supposed to launch with Re:Verse, its latest take on a multiplayer offering after it did so with Project Resistance. After being delayed previously, Capcom has officially announced that Re:Verse will now move to 2022. For something that was supposed to release this month, a 6 month delay (at least) sounds pretty bad.
Capcom advises players who have purchased a physical copy of Resident Evil Village to hold onto the Re:Verse download codes (or use them already) to get ready for when it launches. Updated launch details will come at a later date.
A beta was held early this year and while the reception was a bit mixed, it looked like an improvement from Project Resistance. Hopefully, this delay gives the time the team needs to provide an experience that is worthy of the franchise it is carrying.
