Bayonetta 3 seemingly set to release in 2022
Nintendo is scheduled to have a huge 40-minute Direct later today which could see a number of announcements and updates about some of the most anticipated titles that will be releasing for the Switch in the next few months.
One announcement could be that of Bayonetta 3.
Over at the Nintendo Japan website, a release schedule has been updated and it seems that there are a couple of games in there that would possibly be announced during the Nintendo Direct that’s happening in a few hours.
Apart from an unannounced Kirby title called Kirby: Discovery, the bigger game is Bayonetta 3, which is lumped in with a number of high-profile releases like Splatoon 3, BotW 2, and Mario Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Clicking on both titles leads to a broken link, but the entries are still there. You can check out the screenshot below to see the Bayonetta 3 entry.
We can probably assume that this was done in anticipation of the announcement later during the Nintendo Direct presentation, which is set to air at 3 PM Pacific Time (6 AM Philippines).
