If you’re waiting for Bayonetta 3, well you’re fresh out of luck. However, developers Shift Up has got the thing for you as Project EVE was announced for the PS5 during the recently concluded PlayStation Showcase.

In this almost 5 minute trailer, we get to see impressive graphics and gameplay including some monsters that are looking quite epic and will look to leverage PS5 features such as haptic feedback.

As detailed over at the PlayStation Blog, Shift Up Director Kim Hyung Tae gives an overview of the story:

“In the not-too-distant future, mankind is expelled from Earth after losing the battle against the invaders called the NA:tives. To win back Earth, the player becomes Eve, the survivor of the paratrooper squad deployed from the Colony, who must fight through powerful enemies with new comrades. We invite you to join Eve’s adventure in the face of unknown creatures on a desolate, destroyed Earth.”
