Elden Ring Goes Gold, Main Route Will Take Around 30 Hours To Finish
We’re about 1 month away from what is arguably one of the most anticipated games of the year in Elden Ring, FromSoftware’s latest masterpiece. Scheduled for a February 25 release, fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the game has now gone gold ahead of its launch date, confirmed by Yasuhiro Kitao.
As reported by Gematsu, when asked if development was going smoothly (near the 40:40 mark), Kitao confidently answered with the following:
“Elden Ring was originally slated for release in January of this year, and it has been pushed back once to February. But please be assured, the title will be ready for sale on February 25. The master version has already been submitted, and right now, the team is working on a day one patch to make sure everything in the game is just so.”

Additionally, Kitao was also asked how long the game would take to beat. As expected, the variance is very high here depending on how players go about the game, but the “main route” should take around 30 hours. You can hear about this at around the 33:00 mark of the video.
Elden Ring is scheduled for a February 25, 2022 release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
