CD Projekt Red has announced that the next-gen upgrades for the PS5 and Xbox Series are now available for owners of the previous-gen versions of the game. Best thing about it? The upgrade is free, along with Patch 1.5.

Revealed during the special REDstreams show on their Twitch Channel, CD Projekt Red has finally released the long-awaited update for the game, which includes upgrades like Ray tracing, dynamic 4K scaling, faster loading times, and other various improvements like DualSense support with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers (PS5).

You can also view some PS5 and Xbox Series X gameplay below, showing very smooth frame rates and a nice visual upgrade.

Alongside this, Patch 1.5 will also bring a number of big changes to the game, revolving around gameplay and technical improvements. Additionally, a number of DLC’s will also be included like more guns, apartments, and others. The patch will clock in at around 50GB approximately.

A free trial of the game is also available for PS5 and Xbox Series users and will allow 5 hours of access to the game. The trial will be available for 30 days (until March 15).
