Guilty Gear Strive Adding Testament Later This Month, Crossplay Confirmed
Arc System Works has confirmed that Guilty Gear Strive will be getting its last Season 1 character in the form of Testament, available for Season Pass holders on March 28. Season 2 is also in development and will contain 4 characters as well.
This was revealed during the recently concluded ARCREVO America Finals, alongside other announcements such as a “Digital Figure” mode, which is basically a souped-up photo mode that will allow players to basically create a full scene by adding characters, effects, filters, and much more. This mode will be a free update coming to players on March 28.
Another new mode, “Another Story” will make its way to Season 1 Pass holders at the end of April and will explore alternate storylines from other characters that did not make an appearance in the main storyline.
Furthermore, ArcSys also confirmed that crossplay will be coming to Guilty Gear Strive but did not specify when this feature will be released.
