God of War will release in November 2022 for the PS4 and PS5, if reports are to be believed.

This is according to Bloomberg and Jason Schreier, who says that Sony is expected to announce the release date later this month, according to two sources familiar with the development of the game. “as of this week, it’s planned for November,” Schreier says.

The game has received multiple delays during its development, citing circumstances related to the pandemic and other production challenges. The report further states that it was initially set for a September 2022 release, but has been bumped to November just recently.

Needless to say, this report is to be taken with a grain of salt, but Schreier has proven to be a reliable source of insider information many times in the past. While nothing is official, we might not have long to wait as the announcement is supposedly happening later this month.
