During the Capcom Showcase, the company announced that a free demo for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available on June 15, allowing players to take on 4 different quests, as well as try out the new “Switch Skill Swap” system and the new “Silkbind Attacks.”

The demo will let players visit the newly introduced Jungle locale as well as take on Astalos and Malzeno for a challenge before the expansion officially releases on June 30, 2022.

Additionally, Capcom revealed a number of new monsters coming as part of the expansion:

• Espinas (Monster Hunter Frontier)
• Gore Magala (Monster Hunter 4)
• Daimyo Hermitaur
• Pyre Rakna-Kadaki

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Roadmap

Capcom also revealed the roadmap of free updates coming to Monster Hunter Rise in the coming months, which will include the addition of new monsters like Lucent Nargacuga, new locations like the forlorn arena, and much more.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is coming on June 30, 2022.
