What was once just another mode for The Last of Us Part II has now grown to a point where the scope became too big and became a whole project of its own.

During the recently concluded Summer Game Fest, Neil Druckmann took to the stage to give an update about the upcoming multiplayer game. Druckmann shared concept art of the game that shows two characters overlooking what looks like San Francisco in shambles.

Druckmann also mentions that the game will have a story and will, in some way, be even bigger than the other The Last of Us games.

More information about the game is scheduled for next year.
