Clash of Clans, the world-famous mobile game, recently held an offline player gathering in Manila, Philippines to celebrate its 10th anniversary. In collaboration with Xiaomi, a well-known phone manufacturer, this event was well received by local players.

Love and companionship – players’ blessings via social media posts

The success of the game and its enduring popularity across the world can be tied to the continuous love and companionship of the players. Along with Xiaomi Philippines, Clash of Clans collected players’ wishes on Facebook, recalling many fond memories of the game.

A huge number of players have been supporting the game for nearly a decade, and it is this love and companionship that supports Clash of Clans to move forward.

For many players, Clash of Clans is not only a game but also a symbol of youth and memories, where many have met like-minded friends that they can work and fight together with. From these messages, Clash of Clans and Xiaomi hand-picked players to join the offline event.

Brilliant offline event

The offline player gathering from Clash of Clans and Xiaomi was officially launched in the Xiaomi Store at the SM Mall of Asia in Ikea. Players who have met through the game bonded during the event, performing to the best of their abilities and competing with each other for the coveted three-star score, which further enhanced their friendship.

Clash of Clans is well known for its ideas, always amazing its players with eye-opening marketing campaigns and events. During the 10th anniversary event, the game once again displayed those wonderful ideas by coming up with a “40 years of history” campaign that encompasses a website layout change, animated films, mini-games, and even a 20-minute documentary.

To push the point further, the offline event also integrated different Clash of Clans elements such as pixel art, arcade games, online games, and much more.

Later in the day, loyal Clash of Clans players started to log in and was greeted by many wonderful gifts, with a Xiaomi representative even delivering a welcome speech.

Just like the game, players enjoyed seeing their fellow clansmen after such a long time, communicating warmly like they were members of the same tribe.

After the guests and players had signed in and taken their seats, a speech was delivered by the head of Xiaomi, who said that both Xiaomi and Clash of Clans hoped to bring players a better gaming experience and exclusive services in the future.

After the opening ceremony, a series of tense and exciting friendly battles among players commenced, attracting passers-by to experience the game. Local players also started to form their own teams to compete on behalf of their teams.

As the players put on a show in front of everybody, many onlookers were enticed to try out the game, and mobile phones that had game accounts were provided by both Clash of Clans and Xiaomi to allow everyone to feel the enchantment of the game and the thrill of nailing three stars.

Towards the end of the event, the players chanted “Happy 10th Clashiversary! Chiefs, we are waiting for you to come back!” to conclude the eventful day.

Unstoppable surprise at the 10th Clashiversary Celebration

In addition to the eye-opening marketing campaigns and exciting offline party, the 10th Clashiverary celebration also surprised players with in-game benefits. The game launched a brand-new hero skin “Party Champion” during the month of the 10th Clashiversary, as well as anniversary-themed pixel art village scenery which is truly eye-catching.

Players can also get a free pixel-art-styled Barbarian King, along with the pixel-art styled Archer Queen, Grand Warden, Royal Champion, and the 10th Clashiverary celebration scenery which launched in the game store.

The 10th Clashiversary cake decoration will also be officially launched in the game, and Clash of Clans collectors and veterans will surely not want to miss out on it.
