Death Stranding Crosses Bridges and Heads to PC Game Pass
505 Games and Kojima Productions have announced that Death Stranding will be available on PC Game Pass starting August 23, 2022.
The original version of Hideo Kojima’s critically-acclaimed and genre-defying epic lands on the Microsoft ecosystem for the first time, available to PC Game Pass subscribers.
The game tells the story of Sam “Porter” Bridges, portrayed by Norman Reedus, as he traverses the ruined remains of America to reconnect the survivors after the near-extinction of humanity. Death Stranding features the Social Strand System, which allows players to interact with each other by contributing resources and building structures to improve the world.
The game was speculated to appear on the subscription service after a number of profile picture changes from the PC Game Pass Twitter account, which showed a landscape background that resembled one of the areas in the game.
The most recent profile pic showed ruined buildings and rain with various objects flying around, some of which resemble a whale, and thus cementing the announcement.
