Tekken 8 Seemingly Teased During EVO 2022
During the Tekken 7 Grand Finals at EVO 2022, a teaser for what fans think is Tekken 8 was shown.
Bandai Namco unveiled a new trailer for Tekken 7, announcing a new balance update for the game coming on August 17, along with the Tekken World Tour Global Finals happening in Amsterdam on February 4-5, 2023.
Towards the end of the trailer, Kazuya’s original Tekken ending was shown, where he threw Heihachi off a cliff. The blocky graphics from years ago then turned into an updated version of Kazuya’s character model, followed by a “Get Ready” sign, which you can see below.
Although no official announcement was made, it’s not too far off to think that Bandai Namco just teased a new Tekken project, presumably Tekken 8, especially since Tekken 7 was released way back in 2015.
Whatever the case may be, we’re hoping we don’t have to wait too long for the game to come out.

Meanwhile, Tekken fans can look forward to the Netflix animated series, Tekken: Bloodline, coming on August 18, 2022.
