VNG Games has announced that Metal Slug: Awakening is now having its second Alpha Test phase in the Philippines and Indonesia.

After a successful alpha test back in July 2022, this second phase is a good sign that the game is getting important feedback and is nearing its release, ensuring that the promised features will exceed player expectations.

“Filipino gamers from Alpha Test 1 helped us to map out this new version of the game, and we cannot
wait to get feedback from the Philippine gaming community,” shares Maricar Cacnio, Operations Lead of VNG Philippines. “Testers can look forward to testing new features like the “Clone Master” (a.k.a. Guild Boss Raid).”

Here’s what players can expect from the second alpha test:

• Characters – Be blown away by the action
• Features – Reunite with the old and make new friends
• Maps – Unlock dungeons and take down Boss Monsters
• Gear – Hot guns and sizzling gear to try out

The second alpha test for Metal Slug: Awakening will have 4,000 slots available for each country on a first-account-created, first-served basis, and will only be available to Google Play users located in the Philippines and Indonesia.
