SEGA has announced that Sonic Frontiers is getting a collaboration with the popular hunting action game series, Monster Hunter.

The Monster Hunter collaboration pack will be made available as free DLC for Sonic Frontiers on November 15, which will give players access to special Rathalos outfits and a BBQ Spit that lets them play a meat-grilling mini-game that makes Sonic even stronger.

Both the Sonic Team and the Monster Hunter team have also released some fantastic artwork commemorating the upcoming collaboration.

The game has been making moves as of late, even collaborating with J-Rock band ONE OK ROCK to perform the ending theme.

Our hands-on preview of the game calls it a step in the right direction, and while our time with it proved to be too short to say if the game will have enough content to be engaging enough, we are cautiously optimistic about Sonic’s latest adventure.

Sonic Frontiers is scheduled to release on November 8, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
