Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Digital Version for Xbox Series Postponed due to Technical Issue
Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that the digital version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot for the Xbox Series has been postponed. A new release date has not been announced.
Initially scheduled to release last Friday, January 13, the game has been delayed due to an issue that refrains players from progressing through the game upon downloading. Because of this, the release of the game has been postponed, along with the Xbox One version of the new DLC “-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate” and “Season Pass 2.”
Currently, the issue only occurs for players who are playing the Xbox One version of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on their Xbox Series consoles. Players using an Xbox One are spared from the issue, and Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has confirmed that the save date from the Xbox One Version is not affected.
We are currently investigating the detailed cause of the issue and possible countermeasures, but until we make further confirmation on this matter, we ask our customers to refrain from playing the game until the problem is resolved. An announcement will be made as soon as the situation is confirmed,” says the team.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is now available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
