Philippine GameDev Expo Happening on August 18 – 20
CBZN Perspective and the Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP) have announced that the Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) is happening on August 18–20 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
The Philippines’ first Game and Development exhibit aims to put game developers in the spotlight and act as the platform that solidifies the talents of Filipino and global developers.
PGDX will feature a series of attractions for the gaming community including game demos, hardware
showcases, cosplay competitions, community gatherings, and everything in between that will keep everyone engaged. There will also be Business-to-Business (B2B) opportunities for professionals in the gaming and tech industry that feature workshops, panel discussions, and masterclasses that can enrich the experience.
The main stage will feature well-known guest speakers such as:
- Michael Albert “Mooch” Mucci, Razer Gold’s Associate Director and Head of Account
Management, who is a change leader who enjoys supporting large global consumer tech
businesses in scaling their operations across multiple functions as they grow. - Chris Murphy, the Chief Evangelist of Unreal Engine, embodies his enormous passion and
dedication to game development and design. - Christopher Natsuume, the creative director & co-founder of Boomzap Entertainment. He is one
of the top independent game developers in Southeast Asia who released over 50 award-winning
games on different platforms and distribution channels.
