Final Fantasy XVI Sells 3 Million Copies Despite PS5 Exclusivity
Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XVI has “shipped and digitally sold” 3 million copies on the PlayStation 5, with the number coming in just less than a week since it was released.
Putting things into perspective, the Final Fantasy VII Remake sold 3.5 million units in just 3 days with a vastly superior PS4 install base, and Final Fantasy XV sold 5 million units in 1 day but as a multiplatform release.
