Shift Up and Level Infinite have announced that GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE’s Bluewater Island Update is now available.

In the update, players will be able to embark on a new story event, giving them the task to explore the mysteries of the island, uncover new relics and materials, rescue NIKKEs, and take on mysterious threats. The first chapter of the story event will start on June 15 and will gradually unlock more chapters on June 22, 2023.

The new update will also introduce two new SSR recruits. First is Mary: Bay Goddess, a support character from the Tetra Line. Mary moves from being a field doctor at a coastal clinic to joining the battle against the rapture head-on with her ability to increase the survivability of her allies.

Joining Mary: Bay Goddess is Neon: Blue Ocean. The MG-wielding attacker from Elysion interestingly uses waterpower instead of traditional firepower to fight through hordes of enemies. Neon: Blue Ocean also comes with a set of abilities that allow her to take on multiple enemy units at a time.

Additionally, the shotgun-wielding Pepper will also be getting a new costume called Ocean Vitamin available through the new BlueWater Pass. Speaking of new additions, the update also comes with a new summer login event, mini-games, and summer-themed visuals updating the look of the in-game lobby. Other changes coming in the update also see NIKKEs Blanc, Noir, and Rosanna joining the Ordinary Recruit and Social Point Recruit rosters.
