The recently announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be reusing voice lines from the original game, Konami has confirmed.

Speaking to The Verge, Konami’s Head of Communications for the Americas has indeed confirmed that the upcoming remake will be reusing lines from the original game with no changes.

Considering this is a remake, fans have been looking forward to Metal Gear Solid Delta ever since it was announced during the recently concluded PlayStation Showcase. While the press release mentioned that the remake will be faithful and will “star the original voice characters,” it was unclear whether the original voice cast will be reprising their roles.

That said, fans will indeed look forward to playing a faithful remake, more faithful it seems than the likes of what Capcom has done with Resident Evil 4 that put new twists and turns that offered a fresh experience overall.

Alongside this announcement, a Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 was also revealed, which contains 3 iconic titles in one awesome package.
