Acquire Corp. has announced that the twin-stick shooter game XALADIA: Rise of the Space Pirates X2 will have a playable demo on Steam from August 12 to August 14, 2023.

This limited-time playable demo will show players many of the features of the game, including non-scrolling, single-screen battle, varied turret construction, cover defense, and 3D graphics. Its scalable, customizable weapons system sets it apart from other twin-stick shooters.

In XALADIA: Rise of the Space Pirates X2, Players must take on the role of a planetary reconnaissance soldier named “Space Wolf” in a terraformed planet society during a violent and destructive alien space-pirate raid.

Multiple weapons will be at your disposal, including the Machine Gun, Thrust Gun, and various turrets like the Missile and Laser Turret.

Acquire Corp. is known for developing games such as Tenchu: Stealth Assassins, Akiba’s Trip, and Way of the Samurai, and even partnering with Square Enix to establish the Octopath Traveler series.
