After initially launching in select territories worldwide in November 2023, the PS5 Slim is finally coming to the Philippines next month.

Launching at a later date compared to other neighboring Southeast Asian countries, the PS5 Slim is tentatively scheduled to launch in the Philippines on March 27, according to pre-order notices from various PlayStation-authorized retailers.

Game One PH and Datablitz have already opened up pre-orders for the PS5 Slim, which will retail for PHP 30,790, while the new vertical stand will retail for PHP 1,690.

The new model will now come with a 1TB SSD and will be smaller and slimmer than the previous launch version. It will also have a few new design changes, including a detachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive, 4 separate cover panels (2 top and 2 bottom), a glossy top portion, and a matte bottom portion.

Additionally, this new model will include a horizontal stand, but a vertical stand compatible with all PS5 models will be sold separately.
