HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact‘s Version 4.5 update, entitled “Blades Weaving Betwixt Brocade,” is launching on March 13.

In this Genshin Impact update, players will be invited to Mondstadt and help Jean, Lisa, and the Knights of Favonius develop the local alchemical potion business. Several optimizations are also implemented in this new version, including a new info hub called “Training Guide,” which can provide various suggestions for developing characters in Travelers’ Parties.

In Genshin Impact’s latest major seasonal event, titled “Alchemical Ascension,” travelers are invited to heed the call of the Knights of Favonius and assist Lisa in managing an alchemical potion shop. The goal is to promote local businesses and provide essential services to the community. Players take charge of every aspect of the production process, from cultivating ingredients to concocting potions and selling them to eager customers.

As revenue grows, players have the opportunity to expand the business by acquiring additional operational facilities and exquisite potion bottles. This expansion allows for an increase in both business areas and the variety of potions available for sale. Additionally, players can interact with familiar faces and strike mutually beneficial deals. In exchange for their efforts, players can earn various rewards, including the exclusive 4-star polearm, “Dialogues of the Desert Sages.”

Chiori, a brilliant fashion designer hailing from Inazuma, is the owner of Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. She is set to join the ranks of 5-star Geo sword wielders. In combat, Chiori summons her automaton doll and design assistant, “Tamoto,” to deal damage based on her Defense and Attack attributes. If a Geo Construct is nearby, Chiori can summon an additional “Tamoto.”

Her Elemental Burst involves drawing twin blades and executing a precise cut, dealing area-of-effect Geo damage. During exploration, Chiori enhances party members’ Movement Speed by 10% if any of them are wearing non-default outfits or wind gliders. As part of her latest Story Quest, she will reveal more about the challenges and opportunities she faces during Fontaine Fashion Week.

In the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Event Wishes, players can look forward to Chiori and Arataki Itto in the first half. In the second half, Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha will take the spotlight. Additionally, a fresh “Chronicled Wish” will debut in Version 4.5, introducing 5-star characters like Albedo, Eula, Mona, Klee, Diluc, and Jean.

The wish also includes over 10 5-star weapons, including Wolf’s Gravestone and Hunter’s Path. Players can strategically pursue their desired 5-star characters or weapons, with the second 5-star item obtained guaranteed to be the desired one (if not obtained during the first attempt).

Genshin Impact’s 4.5 update will include enhancements to the overall gaming experience, especially for early-stage players. Within the Paimon Menu, the “Training Guide” offers valuable tips and recommendations for character enhancement. It covers aspects such as character level, weapon choices, artifacts, and talents.

Additionally, the character’s Talents interface now displays upgrade materials, allowing Travelers to quickly identify the resources needed for talent progression.
