Marvel and Skydance New Media have announced Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, a new ensemble narrative action-adventure game developed using Unreal Engine 5.4 that’s scheduled to launch in 2025.

No platforms have been announced, but here’s a look at the story trailer.

In the chaos of war, worlds collide. Captain America and Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, must overcome their differences and form an uneasy alliance to confront their common enemy. Fighting alongside Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris, they must join forces to stop a sinister plot that threatens to turn the havoc of World War II into the ultimate rise of Hydra.

As the game’s narrative unfolds, players will assume the role of four central characters: a young Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America; Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther; Gabriel Jones, a United States soldier and member of the Howling Commandos; and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris.
