Octopath Traveler I and II Now Available on All Platforms

- Before today, the Octopath Traveler series was made available on various platforms while also strangely missing out on some others.
- The first game was not available on PlayStation but launched on Xbox, while the second game was available on PlayStation but skipped Xbox.
- Today, Square Enix has made both games available across all platforms while also adding both on Xbox Game Pass
Square Enix has announced that the Octopath Traveler series is now available across all current console platforms and PC via Windows and Steam.
Octopath Traveler is now available to purchase on PS4 and PS5, while Octopath Traveler II is finally on Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Xbox Game Pass.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy a 34% early purchase discount before June 20, 2024. Additionally, both titles are also available as a bundle on the respective digital marketplaces where the games can be purchased.
To celebrate this occasion, a free update has been added to Octopath Traveller II, which includes the “Extra Battle” mode that becomes available after defeating the final boss in the final chapter. This mode lets players test their skills against newly added tough opponents – including the main characters
of the first game.
