WP/Gaming, a consulting and marketing company dedicated to connecting brands, games, and generations in Southeast Asia, is thrilled to announce the pilot of its workshop and networking program, WP/CONNECT. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between education, knowledge sharing, and networking, empowering individuals to realize their potential within the gaming and esports industry while fostering the growth of industry professionals and standards.

Participants will also have the chance to connect with key industry experts and mentors while enjoying
opportunities to socialize with fellow attendees.

The pilot workshop is held in partnership with FWD Life Insurance Philippines. The first topic for the pilot workshop this August is “Branding in Esports.” Key lecturers and industry experts will share their insights on this crucial subject. Industry leaders including Eric Valmonte (WP/Gaming), Dani Rogacion (Overdrive Studios), Ralph Aligada (Globe Telecom), Bryan Dacanay (Tier One Entertainment), Benj Dalmacio (Level Infinite), and Mark Navarro (Player Two Productions) will be joined by moderator TJ Parpan (Management Consultant) to ensure attendees gain valuable takeaways from the sessions.

Additionally, guest mentors such as Benson Te and Ton Gatmaitan (WP/Gaming), Carlo Suntay (GCash), Joebert Yu (CBZN), and Jab Escutin (Ap.Bren) will offer practical advice on applying the session’s learnings.

Pre-registration is now open for initial waitlisting, with the pilot workshop accommodating only 40 participants. For those who don’t make the cut, don’t worry—we’ll have more sessions and topics in the future and will be in touch. The event will take place at B1 Forum, The Globe Towers BGC, from 9 AM to 9 PM. The workshop fee is PHP 950, which includes coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks, and a one-year FWD Insurance plan. Additionally, PHP 50 from each registration will be donated to Save the Children through OMNE by FWD.
