Concord Goes Offline on September 6, Full Refunds to be Given

In a nutshell

  • Concord is going offline on September 6, 2024, just two weeks after its launch due to poor reception.
  • Full refunds will be offered to all players who purchased the game for PS5 or PC, with specific refund processes for different platforms.
  • Sales of Concord have ceased immediately, and players will lose access to the game once refunded.

PlayStation and Firewalk Studios have announced that Concord is going offline on September 6, 2024.

Launched back on August 23, reception for this FPS hero shooter was abysmal, despite its decent gunplay foundations. Now, just 2 weeks after launch, the game is shutting down.

“While many qualities of the experience resonated with players, we also recognize that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended,” says Ryan Ellis, Game Director. “Therefore, at this time, we have decided to take the game offline beginning September 6, 2024, and explore options, including those that will better reach our players.”

“Concord sales will cease immediately and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased the game for PS5 or PC.”
