SEGA and Aniplex have released new trailers for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, which showcase the game system along with new features.

A second trailer also introduces two brand-new playable characters: Academy Kyojuro and Academy Uzui.

Dual Ultimates
Players will be able to team up through certain character combinations to unleash stylish new Dual Ultimates to devastate your opponent. Use this power of forged bonds to your advantage!

The Path of a Demon Slayer
A new mode where players can revisit the story of the previous game through key battles from the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, and the Mugen Train Arc.

Gear
Wearable items that boost your character’s attack or recover health during battle.
Personalize your character’s equipment and take on Story and VS Mode!

Mastery
The more you use a character in Story and VS Mode, the more their mastery will increase.
Raising their mastery will grant you a variety of rewards that can be used to create a unique Slayer ID!

Training Paths
A new mode where you get to train under a Hashira of your choice. Battle against a series of opponents before testing your mettle against the Hashira!

New Playable Characters

Academy Kyojuro (VA: Satoshi Hino)
Kimetsu Academy’s history teacher.
He is popular with the student body and they say no one gets bad grades in History in the school.

Academy Uzui (VA: Katsuyuki Konishi)
Kimetsu Academy’s art teacher.
He’s known to yell, “Art is an explosion,” before blowing up his classroom with dynamite.
