Spell-casting Shooters ‘Heretic + Hexen’ Now Available as Modernized Collection

id Software has officially launched Heretic + Hexen, a modernized collection of the genre-defining spell-casting shooters, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
Heretic + Hexen Details and Features
In collaboration with Nightdive Studios, the bundle features enhanced performance, a remastered soundtrack by Andrew Hulshult, cross-platform multiplayer, split-screen co-op, and mod support. Existing owners of any included titles will get a free upgrade.

Doom: The Dark Ages Update 2
Additionally, a new DOOM: The Dark Ages Update 2 is now live, introducing the Ripatorium, which is a new endless arena mode with customizable waves and time challenges.
Players can earn two exclusive skins: the QuakeCon skin (available until September 1) and the Perfection DOOM Slayer skin by completing new arenas.
id Software has also rolled out full mod support for DOOM Eternal on PC. With a new launcher, players can browse and combine nearly 700 community-created mods, thanks to the idStudio toolset. Steam users can access advanced mod development tools now, with support for other platforms coming soon.
