These next-gen devices promise console-quality play on the go, backed by powerful AMD processors, AI-driven features, and a new compatibility initiative aimed at streamlining portable gaming.
ROG Xbox Ally Details
Powered by Windows 11 and designed with Xbox’s ecosystem in mind, both the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X offer seamless access to titles across Xbox Game Pass, Battle.net, and other PC storefronts. The Ally X packs 1TB storage, 24GB RAM, and an 80Wh battery, while also debuting the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, unlocking future AI features like Automatic Super Resolution and highlight reel generation for gameplay moments.
Xbox is also rolling out its Handheld Compatibility Program, with thousands of titles having been tested and verified, with badges like “Handheld Optimized” and “Mostly Compatible” helping players identify games that run smoothly out of the box.
Future updates will also introduce advanced shader delivery for faster game boots, docking enhancements for big-screen play, and expanded accessory support, including the ROG Raikiri II Xbox Wireless Controller, set to release this holiday season.
