SEGA has announced that Dr. Eggman from the Sonic series will appear in the SEGA Villains Stage DLC of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, which is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Digital Deluxe Upgrade

In the SEGA Villains Stage DLC, iconic villains from SEGA classics will appear as bosses. Among them is Dr. Eggman, the self-proclaimed evil genius from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Additionally, new stages have been introduced, giving players a sneak peek into what to expect in the game.

The Desert

To neutralize ENE Corp’s most fearsome threats, Joe Musashi heads into The Desert. With many timed challenges scattered around, you’ll need to traverse the area as quickly as possible.

ENE Corp Laboratory

Joe Musashi infiltrates the ENE Corp Laboratory, the source of ENE Corp’s super-soldiers, to put an end to their inhumane experiments. Navigate through dark paths and avoid monstrosities such as the invulnerable Mutant Sharks to get through this labyrinthine facility.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance will launch on August 29, 2025, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
